juz reached home frm blacklights at tjc..
its tis rock concert tingy at tjc..
guest starrin the leaven trait + 3dash1
its basically bout 5rock bands(non-tjc students!) competing den tlt n 3dash1 were de judges..

yupp..
was quite disappointed wif de music..
not as good as i expected..
only 3dash1 was good. lik really good..
after all, dey'd won de sch of rock competition previously
so yeah. dey're good!

de 5 competin bands were rock syndrome, april tears, crimson, saw the mice & arrowhead..
n guess wad.
of all de songs dat each of de 5 bands performed..
i only liked afew songs.. which was lik 3 out of sae.. 10 songs?
saw the mice did covers of avenged sevenfold!
but de lead vocals scream until veri nanting..
ARGH. he was tryin to be screamo thruout..

de rock concert lasted frm bout 8pm to 10plus pm..
ha my ear drums nearly burst.
de music was damn loud coz dere werent alot of ppl..
and surprisingly, dere was more moshin at blacklights than at baybeats!
tell me, how ironic is dat?
coz baybeats is lik a wayy bigger event..

aniwae.. dere were oso tis crazy bunch of guys at blacklights.
tink around 20plus years old?
dey were jostlin each other n rollin all over de grass..
basically, actin lik total idiots.
yeah. n we saw a bunch of gals formin a chain n swayin to de music..
EXCUSE ME LADIES, but its a rock concert for gdness sake!
wth is dere to sway bout?!

our brows went skyhigh when we saw de swayin.
it was really an.. indescribable feelin.

okok im bein sucha critic.
but.. it was really ridiculous.. :X

alrite to sum it up in a nutshell.
im sorrie to sae tis.. but im pretty much disappointed in local music already..
i'd been sucha avid supporter of local music..
went all de wae to attend both baybeats n blacklights to gif a chance to local bands..
but was disappointed at baybeats.. n now at blacklights..
im not sure whether i will attend any more local gigs anymore..

prolly not..

erh but i find solace in 3dash1, joel tan & jonathan leong.. =p
